Privacy Policy
The short version: Furlong does not collect, store or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device and in Apple Health.
Furlong is made by Aisle 2 LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Furlong app on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Apple Health data
With your permission, Furlong reads workouts, workout routes, distance, heart rate, active energy and related data from Apple Health, and saves workouts you record on Apple Watch back to Apple Health. This data is used only to show your history, reports and activity details inside the app.
- It is processed entirely on your device.
- It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- It is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and is never sold or shared with third parties.
You can change or revoke Furlong's access at any time in the Health app, or in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
Location
On Apple Watch, Furlong uses your location only while you are recording an outdoor workout, to map your route. The route is saved to Apple Health with the workout. It is never sent to us.
Information you enter
Your display name, shoes, app preferences and the activities you mark as tracked are stored only on your device.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-up.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking software.
- No data sales and no tracking across other apps or websites.
This website
furlong-tracker.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations.
Data export and deletion
You can export your workout summaries as a CSV file from the app's Settings. Deleting the app removes everything Furlong stored on your device. Your workouts remain in Apple Health, which you control.
Children
Furlong is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
